Week 5 NFL Line Predictions

Apologies for the late post, I won’t be able to make a detailed writeup since the games are on soon, so I’ll include most of my thoughts later this week in the recap. Here are my picks for week 5:

Bucs +7 @ Falcons; No Roddy White and no Sam Baker, Bucs should be able to at least keep this game close, if not win outright.

Broncos -6 @ Colts: Von Miller is back, the Broncos just got a whole lot scarier. I like the Colts but I don’t think they are that strong of a team, Broncos should be able to cover a touchdown.

49’ers @ Titans Under 41: Defensive slugfest, I don’t think either offense will move the ball too well. Of course turnovers could lead to more touchdowns but I see lots of field goals in this one.

Bears -1 @ Redskins: Neither offense is amazing but the Bears have a significantly better defense. I’ll take them in what is basically a pickem.

Jets @ Patriots -3: In divisional matchups pitting Rex Ryan against Tom Brady, Brady has gone 3-2 in game 1 with a 56% completion percentage. In game 2? Brady is 4-0 with a 68% completion percentage, 11 touchdowns, no interceptions.

Browns @ Packers Under 45: Browns defense should keep Rodgers in check while Weeden should keep himself in check. Another game that seems likely to have more field goals than touchdowns.
